Health Policy

Minor injuries will be cared for by our office staff, however, no medical treatment or medication will be given without a physician’s consent. If a student is unable to return to class, parents will be contacted and arrangements made for him/her to go home. Students with any type of infectious illness or condition such as a childhood communicable disease, infections of the skin or eyes, head lice, etc. must receive proper treatment, be clears by a physician, and be checked by the Administration before returning to class. In case of surgery, fractures, or prolonged illness, a note from the physician should be presented to the school regarding any limitation of activities or special consideration.
